If you are experiencing a problem with your broadband services you may find the following steps below help you to restore your broadband connection:


    Unplug your wireless router or range extender from the electricity socket. Plug back in after 15 seconds and check if the lights come back on the devices

    Check All Connections Cables

    Check that all the cables are fully in their ports as they can sometimes become dislodged

    Check Power

    Is there power going to all devices, perhaps plug it into a different socket to be sure, again all lights should be on on the device

    Check Lightnet Equipment

    The Lightnet internal equipment may need to be restarted, this device is called a POE (Power over Ethernet), it can be located at the point the connection comes into the house, it will have a Lightnet sticker on it! Unplug this device from the electrical socket and plug it back in after 15 seconds, and again check if the lights have come back on.

    Check Your Router

    Plug the cable out of the port at the back of the router and plug it directly into your laptop or PC. If you can get online the fault is with your router

    Check Your WiFi is On

    Make sure the Wi-Fi is switched on on the PC/laptop/tablet/mobile device you are using
